After a comfortable gondola ride to the Diavolezza mountain station, the breath-taking experience starts straight away. The ten kilometer long ski slope guides you along a 45 minute passage through the imposing ice world of the Morteratsch and Pers Glaciers and ends at the glacial tongue in front of the terrace of the restaurant at the Rhaetian Railway’s Morteratsch train station. The descent route is secured but not prepared and largely corresponds to the degree of difficulty of a red slope (Swiss standard). ,P>Since 2012, I have been proudly representing the Concierge Team at the renowned 5-Star Superior Grand Hotel Kronenhof in Pontresina, which was named No. 1 Hotel in the World by TripAdvisor in 2014. Following my apprenticeship in hotel management at the Sheraton Hotel in Munich, I further expanded my hospitality experience in various front office positions with 5-star chains such as Kempinski and Sofitel in Germany. By chance, I learnt about the Engadin Region from friends and immediately fell in love with the beauty of this exceptional world of lakes and mountains.

Since I love to be in direct and personal contact with my guests, I decided to further my career as a Concierge because it aligns with my approach to life. Since 2015, I became a member of Les Clefs d’Or, which truly made me very proud. With dedication to my task, I seek to create a pleasant and friendly atmosphere with my guests. Every day, my team and I continuously strive to exceed our guest’ expectations and always try to find new highlights and secret tips in order to offer our guests an all-embracing, unforgettable stay in the Engadine.

The Neo-Baroque building is one of the most architectonically important 19th century hotels in the Alps. After an extensive renovation in 2007 the listed historic building is celebrated as one of the best luxury and spa hotels in the world.

The ambience of the rooms and suites is exclusive and comfortable where technical comfort and attention to detail leaves nothing to be desired. The views from the rooms and from the over 2000 m2 sprawling Spa provides majestical views over the glaciers of the Bernina, the charming Val Roseg as well as the surrounding pine and larch forests. In the magnificent Grand Restaurant from the year 1872, the cozy and timelessly elegant gourmet restaurant Kronenstübli or in the historic wooden pavilion offering fantastic views, the Kronenhof presents culinary variety between the classic French, traditional Italian and regional cuisine.
