My first experience into the world of hospitality industry and my discovery of the Concierge role it was by chance. I graduated from the School of Tourism Institut Lluïsa Cura in Barcelona after choosing the degree of “Guide, Information and Tourist Assistance". My strengths were always the languages, geography and history and together my vocation for service always made me clear what I wanted to be, a Tourist Guide. What I really wanted was to create experiences and feelings in travellers in my city, Barcelona. The Fairmont Rey Juan Carlos I gave me the opportunity to be part of one of the most iconic hotels in the Barcelona and to discover for the first time the figure of the "Concierge" so this changed my life completely. I started with a trainee program experiencing all the positions that surrounded that figure; as porter, bell boy and operator, so at the end of my trainee program I got the opportunity to be part of the Concierge Team as a Concierge. In 2013 I joined Las Llaves de Oro Españolas as a member and two years later I received with a great honor my golden keys. I participated in the organization of Assemblies and gala dinners of the delegation of Catalonia. In 2016 I was promoted to Head Concierge in the same hotel I started my career, the Fairmont Rey Juan Carlos I with 28 years old. I continue serving at the same position today.
