Les Clefs d’Or Korea was founded in 15th of April 1994. In 2006, the organization was registered as the 39th Independent Chapter of U.I.C.H. Les Clefs d’Or Korea is operated by 3 branches (Seoul, Busan and Jeju) with 27 U.I.C.H registered Les Clefs d’Or and throughout 33 member hotels. The organization has been continuing to establish many achievements and networks with member hotels and related industries in Korea with passion ever since.

The Korean peninsula is located in Northeast Asia. It is surrounded by the ocean on three sides, making it a unique geographical location. With Seoul as its capital city, other large and economically advanced cities such as, Busan, Jeju, Incheon, Daegu, Daejeon, Gwangju and Ulsan also have higher population densities than other cities in Korea.
